By accessing or using the Site or booking services with House of Wellness Therapies, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our services are provided by a Registered Social Worker, MSW, RSW and are governed by the standards of practice and ethical guidelines of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

2. Nature of Services and Disclaimer

A. Clinical/Therapy Disclaimer

  • Our services (Therapy, Counselling, Coaching) are professional social work services intended to facilitate personal growth, healing, and coping.

  • The services provided are NOT a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or emergency services. We do not provide crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or a local crisis line immediately.

B. Client Responsibility You agree that you are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical history and that your engagement in therapy is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

3. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

A. Appointment Policy

  • Services are primarily offered online/virtually.

  • Payment: Fees are determined at the time of booking and payment is required as outlined during the scheduling process. We accept payment via Cash, Mastercard, PayPal, and Visa.

B. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Cancellation Notice: We require a minimum of 8 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late Cancellation/No-Show: If you cancel with less than the required notice, or fail to show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full service fee as the time slot was reserved for you.

  • Refunds: Fees for services rendered or late cancellation fees are non-refundable.

Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with the professional standards of the OCSWSSW and the laws of Ontario, Canada. You understand and accept the limits of confidentiality as outlined by your therapist.
